In undertaking business with BW Automobiles Pte Ltd, the customer must have read and agreed to the terms in this document.

Membership Information
Your account will be automatically set to inactive if you have not accessed BW Automobiles website within a period of 3 months or if a deposit has not been received after sometime using the system. In order to keep our database of clients manageable and healthy, inactive accounts will be deleted periodically by the system automatically.

Cancelled Accounts
BW Automobiles reserves the right to cancel your account for any reason.

Account Responsibility
BW Automobiles registered customers have a contractual duty and responsibility to maintain your account with BW Automobiles. You are expected to make all payments/communication needed to keep your account with BW Automobiles current. Your failure to manage your account will result in account cancellation and possible further action up to the fullest extent of international trade laws. You must not share your account information (Login Name/PASSWORD) with any other person. Sharing account information with any other person besides the account holder will be in violation of the Terms of Trade. BW Automobiles can in no way be held responsible for the abuse or misuse of your account due to negligence by you regarding account information.

BW Automobiles Deal Terms
BW Automobiles primarily conducts its export business through Ex-Singapore, FOB, C&F or CIF.

CIF (Cost/Insurance/Freight)
This is a comprehensive deal term which includes the following:
A. Price of the goods (vehicle)
B. Singapore-side procedure costs (in-land transportation,)
C. Marine insurance (Optional, based on customers preference)
D. Ocean freight (this cost is the same cost shipping companies quote BW Automobiles to ship the goods)

FOB (Free On Board)
In this deal term, you pays the ocean freight to the destination port shipping agent. This largely depends on the shipping agent & destination ports and may not be acceptable. This deal term only includes the following:
A. Price of the goods (vehicle)
B. Singapore-side procedure costs (in-land transportation)

INSURANCE
BW Automobiles is not responsible if the customer does not directly request insurance. BW Automobiles reserves the right to require the customer to buy insurance dependent on the destination. BW Automobiles has the right to require the customer to purchase insurance in the destination. In this case, please be sure to buy insurance once the ship is booked.

'AS IS' POLICY
BW Automobiles Pte Ltd of Singapore sells vehicles in 'as is' condition. Specifically, cars are sold as how they appear and are described in BW Automobiles website. 'As is' condition means that vehicles are sold in the exact state which they are in. Because of the nature of cars, it is difficult (almost impossible) to be aware of everything right and wrong with the car. Although BW Automobiles does its best in selecting quality cars, customers must always understand that there is risk associated with purchasing a used vehicle. BW Automobiles tries hard to reduce as much of this risk as possible by translating as much information about the vehicle as possible.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
BW Automobiles will not accept order cancellations for any reason.
The following penalties will be applied for cancellations that are absolutely necessary.

In all cases, if an order is cancelled after the car has already been shipped, any payment (or down payment) will be CONFISCATED by BW Automobiles to compensate for losses suffered. The car will be auctioned to other BW Automobiles customers within the same destination port.

PAYMENTS
No shipping or registration documents will sent until full payment is received. BW Automobiles accepts payments by telegraphic transfer only. All bank fees will be payable by you.

CURRENCIES
For T.T. BW Automobiles accepts U.S. Dollar, Japanese Yen and NZ, however, all currencies transferred other than the Singapore Dollar will be converted to Singapore dollar by the bank against the exchange rate current on the day the money is received. BW Automobiles cannot be responsible for monies lost through exchanging currencies. You are obligated to pay by Singapore dollar balance in full.

DOCUMENT PRESENTATION
As required by many customs authorities, BW Automobiles prepares all necessary documents needed for our vehicles import. These documents are released to you after BW Automobiles receives full payment. The following is a list of all documents BW Automobiles will supply to its customers.

These documents will be sent once the ship has left port:
- Original Invoice
- Bill of Lading: This document is published by the shipping companies in Singapore. BW Automobiles will honor requests for changes made to the details however changes made after the ship has left port are subjected to S$100 per bill.
- Marine Insurance Certificate (This document is only included if you opted for marine insurance.)
- Original Singapore Registration & Deregistration Certificate
- LTA Technical Letter Applicable only to NZ buyers.

Depending on your destination port, BW Automobiles will provide additional needed documentation. It is your responsibility to pay necessary charges for these additional documents. BW Automobiles will automatically add these fees to your account. BW Automobiles will also honor requests for any other documents that may be necessary.

CAR CONDITION
We CLEAN the cars before we send them. Many dealers are prepared to do a lot of work on a vehicle before they sell it. Second hand cars are second-hand and therefore scratches and small dents are to be expected on all vehicles. Lower grade vehicles often need body work and partial repaints. Many vehicles need a good engine tune up. Higher mileage vehicles may need certain parts replaced.

High performance vehicles are often subject to engine problems after long periods of non-use. Please be careful when the car first arrives. BW Automobiles is not responsible for engine problems caused by cold-starting vehicles after several months of storage and shipping.

BW Automobiles will translate ALL INFORMATION we have concerning the car FULLY and HONESTLY to the extent of our knowledge. Only if we have communicated something incorrectly can you claim. (Eg. car is diesel when you specifically asked for petrol)
BW Automobiles is NOT RESPONSIBLE for information it did not have. (E.g. Info did not say "engine smoke" but the car has engine smoke) Again, this is a rare case but you need to know where you stand on these issues.
BW Automobiles Pte Ltd is not liable for possible occurrences and/or deterioration after the vehicle has been transported to the port in Singapore, and is ready for export. Although very rare, BW Automobiles customers must always understand that there is a certain amount of risk associated with transporting vehicles overseas. Because overseas shipments may take longer than 1 month, additional wear may occur on the vehicle. Customers must understand that although the majority of BW Automobiles sales proceed smoothly and problem free, risk is present in this type of business (not just limited to BW Automobiles Pte Ltd). This is your risk.

IMPORT RESTRICTIONS
You need to be familiar with the regulations concerning import approval and compliance for your own country. As such, the responsibility to comply and register the car is entirely the buyers. We will deal with everything in the export process until the vehicle is landed in your country. Customs, compliance, tax, duty, registration are entirely your responsibility so please make sure you are familiar with all the regulations governing car importing into your nation.
Documentation Changes (How much is it?)
Any changes to documentation AFTER shipping will be charged at a rate of S$100 per BL change.
BW Automobiles accepts no liability for incorrect information supplied by the customer.

Port Charges
BW Automobiles will not be liable for any extra port fees or storage costs charged to customers because of BL delays due to slow payment. Please pay your bills promptly so that documentation etc. can arrive in time to clear the vehicle from the port.

Shipping delays
Please note that shipping schedules, changes, cancellations, cost changes are totally out of the control of BW Automobiles. Once a vehicle is ready to be shipped we will put it on the first possible ship. Roll-on, Roll-off ships are built to get the most amount of vehicles on the ship as possible. As such, small passenger vehicles are the easiest to ship and usually get space on ships reasonably quickly. As the vehicle gets larger the available space gets more and more restricted.

Depending on the destination, some larger vehicles can have significant delays in shipping because of the limited space for large vehicles. Please be aware of this BEFORE you bid on vehicles.
